Though the incident from yesterday still weighed heavy on her mind, Lilly was persevering as usual. Today was the day the Tai-Chi Club met, and come hell or high water she wasn't going to miss a day and get behind.

Finally outside the door to the club room, she took a deep breath and readied herself for whatever was going on inside. It seemed she was having to do that more often these days, everything had started to change around town and surprises were around every corner.

Here goes nothing. She opened the door.

As you walk into the classroom you are greeted with a quite a few empty desks and chairs. Near the front of the classroom are two other students. A somewhat grungy looking upper class man with shaggy black hair that almost seemed to cover his eyes. You cannot recognize him at first glance he seems like the kind of guy who would lazing around some where rather then at school. You did recognize the other girl however, she has ruddy blonde hair cropped short and is wearing a somewhat shorter skirt with stockings and sneakers. Jessica Long. She was the ace pitcher of the softball team last year, but supposedly suffered a major elbow injury over the summer ending her season before it had begun. Her right arm is still bandaged from the elbow down and she was babying it slightly as she clutches her arm protectively with the other.

Glancing over at your arrival it was the boy who spoke first, "The last of our band seems to have arrived. He smirked turning to face you completely his voice is deep and throaty almost like asphalt or ice crunching. It adds an almost unwelcome edge to the otherwise laid back boy.

It seems we're not the only ones looking for an easy out to this whole thing Conner." Jessica laughed in an unnatural way. She was far to aware of herself fidgeting as if she was out of place standing in the classroom looking out the window from the corner of her eye.

Lilly looked around at her clubmates quickly before introducing herself.

"Hello, I'm Lilly. Pleasure to make your acquaintances. What exactly did you mean by an easy way out?"

Lack of difficulty in club duties would be a welcome relief from her already strenuous daily life, but if this was going to be a group of slackers, she wondered if there might be too much risk in becoming involved with them.
