Kryas was out shopping one morning when after he had picked out his items he groaned when he opened his purse finding that he was in fact completely broke. None of the adventures he had been on through the guild as of late had earned him any real amount of spending money. Remembering back His shoulders slumped dejectedly.

?If I don?t make some money soon I?ve obviously gotten to reliant on the guild for stuff!?

Looking at the stuff he had to leave at the counter he left slightly whimpering ?I Will BE Back!? Exiting the shop he was now a man on a mission. The heavens almost seemed to darken slightly as if a fearful prophecy had just been written. As the guy who kept the books with his old trope he had some experience in these matters.

"It seems it is time to execute one of my master money making plans!" He chuckled the heavens seeming to darken around him as he went.

He didn't have the man power or resources to do anything to grand to begin with so he thought he would start with something easier. That afternoon as the city was alive with the usual traffic he went to the large fountain plaza which was the center of the wealthy traffic. Gilded carriages and people in loud expensive clothing favored the high end shops in this part of town. Armed with a small stool from the guild hall, his lyre, a basket for donations, a deck of tarot cards and his award winning smile he set up shop along the fountain's edge. There were a number of other performers there as well all surrounding the fountain hoping to attract a few coin. Kryas had learned the art of winning over a crowd a long time ago so he was confident of his skills as he simply sat down took a deep breath and then began to play a soft melody before he started to sing.

With his earnings and gear in hand he couldn't help but smirk at the sidelong glances the other street performers were giving him. He didn't mind all that much to be fair he was the outsider muscling in on there territory. It was only fair that they be upset, but for now what was down was done.

The sun was almost setting then and he would have to hurry if he wanted to use his new found earnings for the next step in his plan. Rushing off to the shopping district once again he bought himself a masterfully made home use loom. Made from rich cedar and pine, anyone using it would find the end product better for it.

Assembling it back at the guild would be a pain but in the end it would no doubt be worth it. With what little he had left he went to multiple shops buying as much heavy duty thread as his wallet would allow. What he ended up with was a full armful of thread in as many different colors as he could find.

Returning to the guild as they were starting to light the oil lamps he nodded at any guild mates who called to him speaking a few words here or there until he got through the bar area. The back of the major guild hall was usually quieter at this time of night. Mostly Sophie and the other guild members who helped keep this place going on a daily basis used the spaces. The laundry room, message room, kitchen, medical ward, library, and a number of others were all located in this area. Mostly off limits to the general public he went searching through the maze that was his home for a quite spot where he could go about his work in peace. He found what he was looking for in a back room off one of the major hallways. With a large window and fireplace it looked almost like it had once been used as a sitting room.

While in pristine condition due no doubt to Sophie's hard work she could not halt the affects of time. What little  furniture was left in the room was warn down and beatin. Taking a quick seat in one of the chairs to test it he fell flat on his back as the chair simply collapsed under his weight. The next one he tried more carefully and while it groaned dangerously at first it did hold his weight. Lighting the hearth he was happy to see the fireplace still worked.

Setting up the loom was not overly difficult and by then the room was warming up nicely. Going about his business he went about threading the loom. He worked through the night on patterns for larger blankets he planned to make.

He worked on these creations in his spare time over several days often when the rest of the guild went to bed. The act of weaving had always been something methodical to clear his head and focus his thoughts. Whatever was on his mind tended to come out in what he was making everything crystallized into color and image.

The first piece he finished was a blanket with a night scene. It had as many moons as it did stars, and a huge tree. An image from his memories of his home land. He had been surprised just how quickly he remembered each detail. The second blanket consisted of warmer colors. A side profile of what might have been a panther's head. The image was of a catfolk with a strong prominent jawline. In the background was a coat of arms. This blanket was lined with fur the most expensive thing he got his hands on. The lasting was of of the guilds emblem smiling as it was coming together. He used his emblem mark as a cloak clasp when he went out and traced the groves every now and again to replicate the pattern.
I am treating blankets as if they were clothes. These in particular are like regular clothes.
