A very useful game creation software that I have used for a lot of games. It does have a price tag, but it has a 30 day trial...if you like, I'm sure you'll find it in some corner of the internet ;)

hated it :{  More complicated then most, but the learning curve is worth it. Personally I like http://3drad.com/
Great community and the older versions are always free, though its worth the $5.00 donation for the most recently updated version.

It does take a bit to get used too, but there is a good community out there on the boards. I made some interesting stuff like a car that transforms, flies into the air and and then lands. I'm working on importing one of my custom transformers models :D
