     Yuki hopped in back of the wagon and pushed the pile of meat that was starting to expire out the back and into the middle of the road hoping the smell would lure the creatures away.

The other travelers started to pounce on the dropped meat, tearing it with both their teeth and claws. Though they looked like humans, and wore clothes as such. Their sharp teeth and long claws were definitely not natural.  Just about 100 ft. away, Rota finished her casting. Fire engulfed the creatures and the lion meat, though it didn't kill them. They seemed to look up for a moment, but with the meat right in front of them, even a bit charred, they only kept digging into the flesh.
