When the slime got close enough, you struck out twice, with both attacks hitting their mark. The slime had begun attempting to engulf you, however, as it jumped up to attempt to grapple you, you easily stepped out of the way.

As the slime had landed, you twisted your blade in order to attack it back. Your rapier connected as you tried to make the motion quick enough to not obtain any lasting damage to the weapon.

Vladimir begins to circle the slime slowly as he attacks, being cautious so that he isn't caught off-guard by its slamming attempts. I can tell from the reaction that this thing is acidic, and it seems like it could effect weapons...I must be careful here. Vladimir then makes two quick swipes at the slime again,. trying to make them as clean as possible to avoid the acidic residue.

The first swipe missed as the slime dodged out of the way, however as you brought your second blade to follow up, its previous movement only made the next attack easier as you hit the creature, slicing your blade through it. You quickly retracted your blade, and it did not suffer any damage. The slime was already starting to fall apart, and its movement seemed to slow. However, it proceeded to attack you as it brought forth a glob aimed straight towards you.

Continuing to circle, Vladimir does a spinning strike with both of hit blades. It seems to be weakening, but it's hard to tell exactly how much it's been injured. Hopefully it's near death!

An hour later the arena was cleared and the new challengers placed into combat. You didn't know what to expect, though you knew the fight was to be harder. Soon enough the next opponent was unveiled and before you stood a serpentine creature, like a wingless dragon, but had five heads attached to the body. It towered to maybe 24 ft. in height. Though even that was an estimation as the way the heads moved around and the necks coiled, that it made it difficult to get a good measure. Unlike the other previous rounds however, there was a sizeable crowd to this one. Most of the would-be adventurers had to stop at the fight before, and from here on out were perhaps the toughest the event organizers could get together.

"Now this is more my style! A beast with weak points." Vladimir takes out his rapier and kukri, but instead of darting in, skirts toward the beast defensively. "I'll strike during its movement, it should give me an advantage to let it rush me..."
