The person, if it was one, dashed forward, and suddenly the light around him seemed to diminish, as if he surrounded by a shadowy light. By your estimation the globe around him seemed to stretch around 20 ft. around him.

Serena smiles at seeing the darkness this fool obviously thought he had the upper hand in the night but she had a few tricks up her sleeve. Beginning to pray the silver aura around her form started  to glow brighter and brighter around her form. Like the moon itself she shone dispelling the encroaching shadows.

As you finished casting your spell, the other combatant began heading towards you with its weapons drawn out. You notice that as the light from your spell began to collision with the darkness from the other combatant, they seemed to cancel each other out. The dark combatant seemed to hesitate, but it never slowed down and eventually attempted to attack. You easily saw it coming however, and with a quick flick of your wrist, managed to deflect the first blow.

Serena seeing her opening after fending off the goblins attack brought her knee smashing up into his chin with a satisfying crunch and knocking him off his feet. Using her momentum she was able to lift him off the ground with the rest of her kick. While he was going up in the air she did a back flip herself both feet ringed in flames. She locked both feet around the goblins neck carrying him head first with her in a cresent arc slamming hard intro the ground in a matter of seconds sending dust and bits of rock in every direction.

With that you managed to dispatch the creature, and on your second blow, the familiar flash of light took it away.

An hour later, the arena opened up again, this time as the dust settled you see 115 ft. away a mound of something green. It looked like some sort of green slime, and you can clearly see the creature pulsating and dripping. It seemed to be agitated as its slime continued to reach forth in successive bursts like spasms.

Serena seeing the slime like creature set her jaw the fact that she specialized in close quarters combat meant that she might be making a bit of a mess. But regardless she began her dance and this time began to weave her silvery aura into the movements as it shifted through her personal color spectrum.
