Kin watches as Katrias is painfully dispatched by his two foes. "Why in the nine hells did everyone who screamed about attacking me end up attacking a young girl instead? Intimidated? Confused? Either way, Kitty didn't deserve that. Jerks." Kin sizes up hit possible targets quickly. Lyolf managed to dodge all his movements, which Kin decided was normal for a slippery individual like him. But the halfling didn't want to risk getting hit in the back while not dealing damage in return. Zultar seemed to not be mindful his defenses nearly as much, but getting past Lyolf risked a positional disadvantage. Kin looked to Lyolf, "Guess I'm stuck with you."

Kin ducks low for a moment, then rolls around Lyolf, making a precise strike while the magus is caught unaware. He keeps his eyes on the other two opponents, making sure to not roll closer to them if he can help it.

"You know, Kin, if I didn't know better, I'd almost think you didn't like me!" Lyolf joyfully exclaimed whilst evading the halfling's latest flurry of attacks with practiced ease. Such scenes may or may not have happened on a daily basis, after all, so dodging Azure Fury's many strikes now seemed like second-nature to the elf.

However, as if recalling previous events with sudden vividness, Lyolf's expression became dramatically downcast.

"That... couldn't be true could it? Is it my height? Does my height offend you, Roomie?" Lyolf asked plaintively. "Well that's hardly fair since I can't help but be taller than you."

"Alas, I can only marvel at the wonders of being short. The world must look oh so very big in your tiny, tiny eyes. Do remind me to question you further on the matter later on. I mean, it must be absolutely amazing to be short given your generally docile temperament."

The elven magus sighed.

"...But you know what?" Lyolf continued, his eyes aglow. "Tall people have a perk of their own!"

DESCRIPTION

By adopting this stance, the disciple presents a slim profile to his foes, holding his weapon low and one- handed, and leads with his blade in an elegant and graceful manner, his strikes strong and his profile aiding him in defense. When wielding a melee weapon in one hand, the initiator presents a slim profile with strong offensive and defensive ability. The initiator gains a +2 shield bonus to his Armor Class and inflicts an additional 1d6 points of damage while in this stance. The shield bonus granted by this stance increases by +1 when the character's initiator level reaches 6th, and increases again by +1 at 12th and 18th initiator level. Upon reaching 10th initiator level, the bonus damage increases to 2d6

At 1st level, the magus gains a reservoir of mystical arcane energy that he can draw upon to fuel his powers and enhance his weapon. This arcane pool has a number of points equal to 1/2 his magus level (minimum 1) + his Intelligence modifier. The pool refreshes once per day when the magus prepares his spells.

At 1st level, a magus can expend 1 point from his arcane pool as a swift action to grant any weapon he is holding a +1 enhancement bonus for 1 minute. For every four levels beyond 1st, the weapon gains another +1 enhancement bonus, to a maximum of +5 at 17th level. These bonuses can be added to the weapon, stacking with existing weapon enhancement to a maximum of +5. Multiple uses of this ability do not stack with themselves.

At 5th level, these bonuses can be used to add any of the following weapon properties: dancing, flaming, flaming burst, frost, icy burst, keen, shock, shocking burst, speed, or vorpal.

Adding these properties consumes an amount of bonus equal to the property's base price modifier. These properties are added to any the weapon already has, but duplicates do not stack. If the weapon is not magical, at least a +1 enhancement bonus must be added before any other properties can be added. These bonuses and properties are decided when the arcane pool point is spent and cannot be changed until the next time the magus uses this ability. These bonuses do not function if the weapon is wielded by anyone other than the magus.

A magus can only enhance one weapon in this way at one time. If he uses this ability again, the first use immediately ends.

At 1st level, a magus learns to cast spells and wield his weapons at the same time. This functions much like two-weapon fighting, but the off-hand weapon is a spell that is being cast. To use this ability, the magus must have one hand free (even if the spell being cast does not have somatic components), while wielding a light or one-handed melee weapon in the other hand. As a full-round action, he can make all of his attacks with his melee weapon at a –2 penalty and can also cast any spell from the magus spell list with a casting time of 1 standard action (any attack roll made as part of this spell also takes this penalty). If he casts this spell defensively, he can decide to take an additional penalty on his attack rolls, up to his Intelligence bonus, and add the same amount as a circumstance bonus on his concentration check. If the check fails, the spell is wasted, but the attacks still take the penalty. A magus can choose to cast the spell first or make the weapon attacks first, but if he has more than one attack, he cannot cast the spell between weapon attacks.

Zultar figured Kin would be a very scary opponent to fight alone. Too many times, Zultar had seen him drop from heights that would break the bones of any other would-be rogue of similar skill. Kin was special, but so was Zultar, maybe a little more so in the head because of his zeal towards anything of meat, but maybe because Zultar actually thought, if but for a moment, properly in a fight, he might have a chance to best Kin-

I'LL CHARGE AT KIN AND EAT HIM!

But anyways, today is not that moment.

"KIN!" Zultar yelled, getting ready to butcher him like a cleaver through butter, butter that could even dodge. Course Zultar never actually struck him: instead, while yelling Kin's name in a threatening manner, Zultar mindlessly moved as far away from him as he could within an instant. Who cares what Kin does? Leave it to that strange shadow lover Lyolf. They can play magic tricks together, Zultar pictured them frolicking in the gardens of Galas'nor while they played and laughed and almost nonchalantly cut each other down with innocent smiles on their faces. He could imagine Lyolf quite easily, but Kin? No-

He was the devil.

Creepy Kin. Creepy Lyolf. Go make hand shadow's as I eat your face off.

And so with these judgmental remarks, Zultar ran in the complete opposite direction at full speed.

I will want to run as far away from Kin as possible (because he's scary) and so I will move 40ft DIRECTLY right (towards Roxanne).
