"Welcome back folks from that short intermission! As you were out and about discussing the previous fight, the new contestants have been gearing themselves up for this fight! Look at them! In one corner we have the Jesting Jesters!" One announcer said.

"And in the other corner we have Two and a Half Casters!" The other responded.

"That makes me want to hum that one theme song."

"It really does."

As the hosts finished their introductions, the arena started to shift and change. The floors became smooth as crackles of lightning surged beneath your feet. But at the transformation completed, what caught your attention the most was the wall of lightning in the middle of the arena.

Quote

 • Crossing the lightning barrier deals 2d6 damage to the player, reflex save DC 15 for half.
 • At the beginning of each round, the lightning wall changes position, damaging anyone in its path 2d6 damage. The DM will automatically roll reflex saves DC 15 for these.
 • For each character that goes down, another lightning barrier will be created.
 • No risk of dying, the badge your character has will immediately teleport you to the tournament's healers upon any fatal attacks.
 • For once, initiative rules apply. Figured since it's PVP, might as well.
 • Forced movement after 72 hours of inactivity. I'll be reminding people to post. If you don't have the time to write written RP replies, just do your rolls and state your actions in spoilers/quotes.

Roll for initiative!

Fellow Rabbit

Eric Whittock

Eric stroked his beard with delight as he observed the field ahead of him. He shot a look of fierce determination across the arena, his gaze penetrating right through the lightning dividing the two teams. He knew the battle ahead would be tumultuous, for he was naught but a humble gnome with strange interests and abilities and he was up against foes with power unfathomable. Nevertheless, he was confident that his side had the better skill. He would ensure the survival and victory of his entire team!

"You can't handle the egg!" he shouted proudly, hold a genuine chicken egg with two fingers high above his head. There he stood, smiling, as he waited for the round to officially begin.

Burdenking

Ollete stood on her hands on her side of the arena, balancing on her palms as she waited for things to pick up. The electrical wall looked like a problem, but now that she looked at it from  a new angle, it was still a problem but upside down. Which she thought was an improvement personally.

Linwelin

Since first coming across his new group mate, Uthaal was already suspicious of his mental stability. But those suspicions soon became blatant truths. "An egg...? Why? Nevermind. Don't answer that. Din! Be on your guard. The marks are reacting, something will happen during this tournament at some point."

At that, Uthaal brandishes a wand and prepares for the approaching battle.

"Well, this could be fun...maybe."

Ardeth glanced back at her comrades and gave them a grin. Whatever was up with the egg, she wasn't sure but it would be amusing at least. Now she was thinking about breakfast and how great eggs and bacon sounded with some toast and-

Tournament. Right, she was in a fight. There was a lightning barrier that would be painful and most definitely wasn't stationary.

"Try not to get knocked out so fast." It was said more for herself than them but they didn't need to know that.

She cast Mirror Image. That'll give her teammates some cover.

Wolfrin to move

Wolfrin Fenris

Wolfrin wasted no time once the signal to begin was given. His thoughts quickly went to his previous match, and he recalled how quickly the match had become serious. Strange that I don't remember how it ended, he thought. He looked over at one of his teammates, And I swear I remember fighting that one. Slowly shaking his head, he focused his attention forward once more.

The wall of lightning between the combatants didn't impede his vision much, but just seeing the crackling energy arcing across the arena made himy quickly resolve to keep Buddy away from it if he could, and signaled Buddy to remain nearby and stay on guard.

Looking past the electric field, he studied his opponents. He didn't know any of them, but then as new as he was, there were not many of the guild he did know. All the information he had to go off was the name is opponents had taken. Two and a Half Casters. He didn't really know why they would choose such a name, perhaps it was meant to be humorous in some fashion?

Regardless he decided to take it at face value. His father had always said spellcasters were some of the most dangerous opponents he could ever face. The key to their defeat, he had been told, is to overwhelm their defenses before they could ready them. With that in mind Wolfrin retrieved Alanas Memoir from his shoulder as he moved to his left for a clear shot.

With a thought to his mother, for he could never wield the bow without thinking of her, he drew an arrow from his quiver. Clearing his mind he notched the arrow. Taking a deep breath, he released it, raised Alanis Memoir, drew fletchings to ear, and released in one smooth motion.
Wolfrin moves to D9 while Drawing Alanas Memoir, then attacks person in F1. As a free action Wolfrin instructs Buddy to move to E9 and guard their position.
