Maeve Gallagher

"Oh?" She questioned, though chose not to pry further into what he had planned. Although she was eager to find out what sort of event Vladimyar thought they should go to firs after getting their new items checked out, surprises were fun. Surprises in dates were often fun, and since she was treating her time with him for the rest of the evening as a date, she would definitely let it play out.

Maeve blinked, watching slightly stunned as the old man took both of their items and quickly moved into position. Perhaps he had drunk a little too much alcohol this day? Ah, well a little fun couldn't hurt, right? It was a holiday, after all! Deciding to encourage her companion to retrieve his sword, she turned to him. It seemed her shock made her move a little too late, however, as she found herself merely watching as he shrugged, placed money on the table, and reached forward to grab the rapier.

A giggle escaped her as she continued to watch Vladimyar victoriously raise his weapon into the air as though he had performed a might deed. Cayne's words brought even more laughter to her lips. She was not sure what Britons were, but it was funny all the same. Seeing him hastily replace the rapier at his waist, she realized he might be embarrassed now and tried to hid her smile with her hand. It was a failed attempt, however, as she found that her cloak had been tossed back at her and she now had to put it back into her bag. By the time she had finished, her companion had already returned to her side and probably had already seen the amused smile that lingered on her lips.

"Oh yes, let us continue, my Liege!" She grinned up at him as she once again linked her arm with his. He was definitely not going to live that down. She would be sure to make mention that she was on a date with a king at least once this night.

The fact that she had not actually paid Cayne for his services or that Vladimir had paid it for her (since she doesn't know how much it costs yet) failed to cross her mind as they walked away.
