As the hyena dropped him to the ground, Beowulf noticed the ground around him shift. He then suddenly felt his back burning and realized that he must make a move quickly before the Nekomimi and him were burnt alive. Beowulf draws another bolt from his belt and loads it into his crossbow, looking towards the badly injured Nekomimi. With anger in his face, he turns back towards the hyena that dropped him and aimed it down before taking his shot.

"Just a bit more until... death! Death!" The announcer's voice had a strange excitable tone about it. But when the next announcer spoke, it was easily to tell she was used to such antics.

"No... not just quite. That poor little cat boy may be out of that fight, but don't forget the other adorable kitty and the doggy!" She giggled. "They've taken down one hyena, the other looks badly injured, and all that remains would then be the lion!"

[Wolfrin Fenris]

Snapping jaws and raking claws hounded Beowulf as he tried to load his crossbow, and when he twisted to fire at the hyena it bit at Beowulf's left arm, but the twist brought his arm just out of reach of those snapping jaws, and the click of the crossbow firing its bolt was the last sound that hyena would ever hear.

Scar could not react quickly enough as Nyaoko charged in fiercely, scythe digging a long bloody gash along Scar's side, just above the bolt still lodged in his lung. Scar staggered, the pain of his various injuries adding up.

[spoiler]Both hyena's have now perished and scar has less than 10hp.[/spoiler]

[Wolfrin Fenris]

[spoiler]New round begins. All those not in the safe area take fire damage. Beowulf takes 5 fire damage, Scar takes 6 fire damage.[/spoiler]

The ground began shifting under the combatants feet once more. Before Scar knew what was happening, flame burst under him, burning him severely. Flame also licked at Beowulf as he lay prone on the floor.

The large lion shook his head, confused and angry at the pain. He battered Nyaoko with powerful swipes of his claws, rending the flesh along her right side and down her left arm, paying her back in full.

[spoiler]Scar takes full round attack against Nyaoko. Bite misses, but both claw attacks hit, doing a total of 14 damage to Nyaoko.[/spoiler]

?Anghnya inyu erethnya rotherbyu.? Nyaoko offered her brother some words of encouragement. Although she was worried, the cat was smart enough to know that giving Scar any time to make his moves could result in the defeat of her as well. Nyaoko didn?t let up ? After her last slash, Nyaoko twirled back around, going for a second.

Auto resolving roleplay. I'm basically rolling for everyone and converting everyone to NPCs. Everything below is actual rolls, I will just sum up the entire thing.

As the fire arena changed into lightning, immediately a bolt of lightning struck Nyaoko. However, her surprising reflex allowed her to dodge the attack. She managed to quickly attack with another throw of her chakram however, this time, her blow struck true. The lion was severely injured, but it still managed to stay conscious. Beowulf moved then, going in for the kill as he quickly struck out with both of his brass knuckles. The already severely wounded lion had already taken too much damage, and soon enough it collapsed.



"There you have it folks! The winners of the first match. Dreamnya Teamnya is moving on to the next round while the 'Scar' team is down for the count. Fear not! No real animals were harmed during the production of this-"

"T-they umm died didn't they?" The announcer next to him said.

"Pfft. They're monsters, and NOT animals!" The first announcer laughed.

Soon enough, the participants were teleported out, healed up, as the rest of the tournament continued.
