Role In Story: Main Protagonist
Biography:
Zain Vectis was born in the medium-sized town of Woodshire, a farming community. Born into a low income family, he resorted to joining the local gang, after getting into a fight and somehow coming out on top, where he learned the useful skill of thievery. His parents worked for the mayor the town. While they spent day after day planting and harvesting plants, while Zain spent day after day stealing items and then selling them back to their owners. During one of his heists he was caught by the local town guard who were able to connect him to the various other heists. He would be sentenced to death. On the day when he was to die, a barbarian army invaded the town and killed everyone. Zain narrowly escaped by hiding in the woods. Zain ran away and began taking refuge in various towns, where he would continue stealing items, where he eventually would save Jaz from a gruesome death.
