[info]Yeah that works, you technically don't have to use up a rest. If you end up being defeated in a match you're forced to rest anyways, and fight the same guy on the next day. See how close you can get before you're teleported out!

Go ahead and update your char sheet before we get started on the next round, so less things to worry about mid-combat lol[/info]

Given from what you were told, you assume the flash of light meant that the combatant gets teleported away. You assume to be their hospital ward, but who knows? You didn't quite know too much about that particular magic that they used to have any more ideas other than that.

An hour later, as the next round was prepared, you see in the distance what looked to be a robed figure, covered from brownish-black clothing. He held a dagger in his hands and he took a stance that brought it forward and up close. But what struck you the most was the darkness that seemed to envelop him and up to about 20 ft. radius around him. It made the otherwise day's light become muddled and subdued. Apart from that, it was still too far to get any more details, and the darkness around him only made it harder.

The few in the crowd cheered loudly, hoping to get as good a match as previous ones. The opponent started moving forward, or at the very least, the orb around him did. He was closing the gap, and it looked as if he was shifting into the very darkness itself, making it hard to see him.
