Main Story / Chapter 2 - Coming of Age

You awaken disoriented and confused.
You look around and you see bright ribbons of blue lights moving all about you.
You feel as if the air is 'pulling' you, stretching you as if your body was nothing more than raw meat.
You for a moment focus on your memory, which is hazy, or is it returning? Who are you? What is your name? What was your job, dreams, desires?

As if sending a probe into your mind, you think about how you got here.. What brought you here?

The most recent memory you access was that you were hit by blinding flash of light accompanied by the sound of a thunderbolt, then woke up here.

The Nether!, you realize.

Main Story / Chapter 2 OOC Thread

Please select your race and class from the PDF version of the WOW RPG 2nd edition. If you need copies they are attached.

Any base class can be used, prestige classes will come later.

I will post a in character intro to this story.

This is much more based on how you want to play vs the 'historical events' being depicted in chapter 1.

Make any class and race combination allowed.

Feel free to post after reading my intro post so everyone else can see your character and so I can make your char sheet and character threads..

Orgrim awoke just as the morning sun passed over the horizon.
What had happened?
The last thing he remembered was hearing arrows cut through the air and battle cries being shouted.
Then it hit him, hard.
Both Durotan and his mate were killed by a volley of arrows. Orgrim had used his Doomhammer to bat the projectiles out of the sky, but as one orc, he was not fast or powerful enough to save anyone besides himself.
His hands, face, and chest stung, a small amount of blood leaked from some of the larger wounds he had sustained during the heat of battle and the ensuing retreat.
"Retreat.." Orgrim said aloud
The word hung heavy in the air. How had he strayed so far from the battlefields and glory?
He knew there was only one choice, he had to get to Alterac. Although this team (he refused to think of it as an alliance) was composed of his sworn enemies, it was clear that the orcs had strayed. To be attacking their own people, on the dawn of a war, and perhaps the brink of Azeroth's destruction.
"Perhaps this war will bring about new partnerships.." He thought, with a sickened chill going up his spine. He could not even stand the fact he had just considered that, even if it was only within his mind.
He must complete the mission, for without this there would be no future, no horde, no light or dark. He may not like it, but this mission was his fate. It is something he would have to press through.. For the good of his homeland.

Meanwhile in Stormwind, Lothar mounted his gryphon, then tossed a few gold coins at the stableman. "Fair and just compensation for the use of your time and facilities."
The stableman's eyes widened, and his jaw slowly fell slack. "This is more than I make in a month!" he shouted
"I suggest that you don't save it, go out and buy something which pleases you." He moved his eyes off of the stableman and pressed his ankles into the sides of his gryphon. Its wings outstretched and with a blast of air and dust kicked up it leapt into the air. Within moments, the black pillars of smoke on the horizon, some as close as the Elwin Forest, darkened the sky. 
Lothar knew Stormwind could not possibly hold out. He had to slip away before it was too late.
In order to ensure the light can spread, you must at times venture into the darkness "Light guide me, give me the strength to do what I must." He prayed, pressing his heels harder, he had to get to Alterac, there was no more time, for himself, or Azeroth. He shook off the thought..
"We shall drive back this swarm." He whispered. "I will avenge every life taken twofold."

The group awoke on the morning, within 24 hours they would have to be leaving. Restlessness was fairly prevalent in them all. Their eyes  appeared glassed over as each began to grasp that they may never see their homes again.

Protagonists / Chapter 2 - Level One PCs Wanted

Upon the conclusion of Chapter 1, chapter 2 will begin. Use the blank template and the PDF of the rule book as well as information I have put up to roll a level 1 character with 1 class.

Our campaign will be Alliance this time, so choose one of the Alliance races.

Use the 'starting package' from the PDF rule book to assign your initial points and characteristics

All rolled characters will start play in Chapter 2 with no break from Chapter 1.

New players are welcome and may roll characters at any time to be included in Chapter 2.

Chapter 2 takes place in year 34, when the war against the Lich King begins. To those who play world of warcraft this is what could be considered Azeroth at the start of the Wrath of The Lich King expansion.

Settings and Rules / Home brew and gameplay rules

Home Brew:
(Chapter 1 only)
The only equipment we will be using is weapons and armor. Everything else is considered 'available'
Spell preparation will be assumed during periods of rest, look in the OOC forum for spent spell slots - if there are no spent spell slots you have 100% of your slots available.

Each turn will last a maximum of 4 days. If you do not play a turn you will be 'on autopilot'
Autopilot PCs will be considered 'on the defensive' and rolls for attacks against them will reflect no countering actions and saving rolls will be based on current stats - no buffs will be activated unless a non 'autopilot' character applies them.
Autopilot characters will follow the group and the primary mission and will be seen as the other players as daydreaming, brooding and silent, or simply not paying attention.

When autopilot is not on a player character turns can move as quickly as the posters wish based on forward progression of the group.

THE OOC POST IS WHERE ALL ROLLS / MOVES / ACTIONS are displayed. I will maintain a constant stream of actions in need of rolls or attention based on what is happening to the group.

A player who is on autopilot for 10 turns (if they are still alive) will fall unconscious with a prognosis of 'going out of their mind'

It is morning on day 3 of 4 of the preparation phase

Orgrim (Zultar) despite your efforts, both of your friends were slain. You were able to escape with scratches and bruises. You awake in the morning to find you had ran quite far in your adrenaline rush and you are one zone away from Alterac, you can make a roll against your strength (1d20) to push your muscles to their limit to join your party in Alterac faster.

Illidan (Linwellin) is in Alterac City
(You currently have 95% control over your Fel Taint.)

You have spent several years beyond the dark portal. You were searching there for a magical power greater than your own. Your brother, Malfurion was famous for becoming the first Druid. You studied under him but would need to find your own path to fame.

Your means to an end for this fame was to tamper with Fel magic and essentially taint your druidic powers.

When the Dark Portal opened and the Outlands began to empty, you found yourself curious. You had become detached from Azeroth but you still possess much of your protective instincts you had honed for nearly your entire life as a a druid. You at this point were only slightly hanging on to that person and for every level of Fel power you take, you lose your ability to cast certain levels of druidic magic. The dark and the light did not mix very well.

You had encountered many energy wells as well as powerful lay lines from which to draw power. As you suckled of the power you found that it was slowly becoming more and more fowl. The Burning Legion's destruction of Azeroth was creating so much evil energy that its power was almost actively destroying the light. The Fel voice in your mind told you to bathe in the radiance of the evil powers and embrace the taint and immense power within it. The Druid voice in your mind could feel the balance tipping. It would not really be in his best interest to allow the entire world to fall to evil and be saturated with Fel energy. Balance had always been necessary. Without balance he would only be a corrupted slave to the power, a power which would make his abilities common place.

How could he ensure that fel energy remained rare, remained powerful, remained pure. He might need to embrace his old ways, to see if there was yet enough good in him to be able to smother the evil deep down within him. He gathered up his strength and began to take in the visions of the Ancients. The visions were terrifying, everywhere the Legion spread the death was literally staining the Fel power. It was the blood which was making the energy more fowl. He needed to stop this spread.

He could see a light. A light which shone brightly, constantly clashing with the pitch dark of the evil magic of Medivh and Gul'dan. Or was it simply Sargas?

If he was able to tip the scales, on behalf of the light, then he could once again have a greater pool of magic to draw from and he could live quietly in the Outlands and give himself to become fully Fel-Sworn.

He casts a spell upon himself, hiding his horns and unnatural skin.

He looked pretty reasonably like a normal Night Elf.

Night elves were reclusive and none had taken up arms in this war to attempt to push back the Burning Legion. He would have a very good cover as to why he wanted to assist the mission.

He looked upon his Spectral Tiger, who's normally blue energy had long been turned to a luminous dark green. You cast a disguise spell on your tiger as well, which should last for a few days, just like your hidden horns and skin. You just hoped you can re-cast the spell without the others seeing you.

You may have your own motives behind your actions and you may be lying (and can create your own face identity if you wish) but your best hope of becoming the most powerful sorcerer and Supreme Lord of the Outlands you would need to assist your team, and ensure their mission gets accomplished.

(Your alignment is currently Neutral Good, but as your hold on your inner Fel energy begins to fade you will slowly drift downward on the scale until you are eventually chaotic evil if you become chaotic evil, you will no longer be able to tell friend from foe and you will likely abandon )

You have a clear vision of where the 'heroes' would gather. You choose a isolated glade shrouded by trees just outside of the range of the wizard Khadgar's magic sense abilities. You would only have to move 3-4 miles to get to Alterac City, it would be best to remain in stealth as any use of your powers may cause the Fel energy within you to bubble up with every enemy you kill. You can wound / knock unconscious enemies without experiencing this effect, but if you take a life the Fel Taint from within you will begin to break through your inner defenses.

You climb onto your mount, which now resembled a common Saber Tiger. You gather up dark energies, which temporarily reveal the horns on your head and skin as several defining lines of each turn a gradually increasing dark green. You see the fabric of space begin to swirl in front of you, and then it fully rips, creating a green illuminated portal. You push your heals slightly into your mount and she lunges forward through the swirling mist. Within an instant with a resounding sound of an implosion the portal closed.

On the other side the green lines over your body fade, and you once again look like a normal Night Elf. Remember, Night elves are still not very well liked and are seen as off putting due to their appearance already. Anything you do which may reveal the dark side of you will have a chance to be detected by the other magic users who accompany you. If you are healing or pulling from druidic powers your strength against the Fel Taint is increased. If you are casting damaging spells there will be telltale signs pointing to your magic not being as natural as a normal druid (which may go unnoticed for awhile because none of the races you are traveling with have yet encountered a druid, however they have been in contact with Fel energy. As you cast damaging spells they will become more and more destructive and have more and more Fel effects associated with them. Healing spells are most recommended however if you want to live dangerously, you can use a balance. For each 1 damaging spell if you cast 2 healing spells your Fel taint will not be effected. However, the farther your ratio of damaging and healing separate the harder it will be to go back.

Choose wisely, your support will be the blade which this mission sits upon, one way leading to success, the other, destruction.

You arrive 2-3 miles outside of Alterac City and you take a short ride to the fortress. You meet Kadgar there and explain that you wish to help the mission.

As second in command to the Blackrock Clan you have lived long in the Blackrock Mountain. Recently when Warchief Blackhand took command of the Horde your home had become the new 'capital' of the Horde on Azeroth.

Blackhand had once participated in a blood ritual with many of the tribal leaders within the Horde. Gul'dan had 'blessed' some blood which would 'ensure the strength of the horde will go on forever' It sounded like a whole load of Clefthoof dung. You did not buy into it, you felt as if anyone who had drank the blood would in some way be able to be manipulated or controlled by Gul'dan. After Blackhand seized power you immediately questioned his motives, he dismissed you without explaining himself. He was not the Orc you had once known.

The only Orc leader whom he could trust whatsoever was Durotan, the only other Tribal leader to deny Gul'dan's offering.

After being insulted by Blackhand you assembled many of your closest warriors. You began to hatch a plot which would see to it that YOU become the leader of the Horde and Blackhand ends up a head on a pike.

Just as you gathered on the lower black slope of the Blackrock Mountain around a glowing lava pool with your closest supporters a pair of Orcs approached.

Your brethren all draw their weapons and begin to fan out. Could Blackhand know you were planning something? Would he send assassins to try to end your coup?

As the steam and smoke parted you identified the profile. It was your old friend Durotan. Strange that you had only just thought of him as the only one you could trust and now here he was.

You order your men to put away their weapons and allow you time to talk to Durotan and his wife in private.

Durotan shares the information which had been relayed to him by Khadgar, every detail. Including that there was a spy, and that there might be more. You immediately distrust everyone in the Blackrock clan, including those who you were just about to share a plan to overthrow their Chieftain. You ask Durotan and Draka to walk with you, and begin heading down the path down away from the mountain.

You walk with the pair, and realize that Draka was wearing a childs sling.

You congratulate them but the look on both of their faces turn bleak. Draka lightly caressed the baby.

You ask what name they had chosen, they told you they had named him Thrall.

It was at this point that Durotan released a flood upon you.

The horde was going to be fractured to its core. Durotan confirmed your suspicions that Gul'dan's blood ritual was more than likely the cause of this divide.

The only way for the war to end, according to Durotan, was for you to assist an Alliance expedition to kill the wizard Medivh and the warlock Gul'dan. He begs you to put your trust and faith in the wizard Khagdar, he seemed wise, for a human, and this wisdom pointed to one undeniable fact. This war will never end while the dark portal is sending tens of thousands of troops per day into the battle. If the destruction of the portal was to come to fruition, everyone on Azeroth would need to work together. Unless they did, the legion would rule Azeroth, Orcs everywhere would burn.

Perhaps this mission may even have other benefits. Coming to battle with several supremely powerful wizards may provide fruitful rewards which would aid him in killing Blackhand without needing a small army. His hammer, which had been his go to weapon for years, WOULD crush the skull of Blackhand. But first, there is no reason why he could not assist in killing a powerful human. Even if it did mean allying with the enemy. It only took a moment for you to decide that a future Chieftain of the horde would need to have priorities. His first was ending this infernal war. The Burning Legion would not easily be forgotten as the most brutal and deadly foes to have ever walked Azeroth. Perhaps the glory you might bring to the Horde with your leadership could one day surpass that.

You told Durotan you would do it, even if it meant a temporary dishonor, it would be a steppingstone for the supreme honor.

Durotan gave you the details, and told you not to take the open road. You know just path to take to get to Alterac City without being noticed... Too much.

A fork came in the road and Durotan and his Wife told you they would go on the trodden path, incase they were being followed. It was becoming the darkest point of the night, and so low-light vision would not be benefit anyone who may be following.

You try for a moment to convince the couple to simply follow you, but Durotan mentioned that it is hard to stay hidden with a crying baby.

You saluted Durotan, which was returned. You then turned, and sprinted toward the pathway. The walk to Alterac City would take 2 days. You knew that the day after you arrived that the mission would begin. (Durotan and his wife took one day traveling by mount) You however smile, knowing that your path would afford you a few opportunities to kill the one race of creatures on Azeroth which you truly loathed.. Murlocs.

(You begin RP on the path, you can move 5 miles an hour, your journey would encompass 60 miles, which you would cover in two days. This allows for rest and any possible combat you may encounter. You may free move until / if a combat situation arrises. You must reach Alterac City before the expedition begins)

As a member of the Bronzebeard house you have spent your entire life prospecting, exploring, and treasure hunting.

You have a long split braided beard and a large round leather explorer explorer hat. You have your "Trusty Pick" and a pistol belt with a Flintlock. Having your expertise in the wilderness you have also gotten several animal companions over the years, although recently yours was killed in battle.

Through the first war the dwarves stood shoulder to shoulder with humans. You have spent the last several months on the front lines, watching your brethren and closest allies falling left and right on the battlefield.

You have become somewhat adept at speaking Orcish from the amount of questioning you do with the Orc POWs.

Orcs to you are the source of all the events which were transpiring involving the Burning Legion. If Orcish sorcery was not meddling with powers beyond their reckoning they would not have been able to do something like open the Dark Portal.

You have had enough of the war and when an emissary came to the dwarves from the King of Stormwind you volunteered for the expedition. You also knew that no one spent as much time out in the world exploring as you and your brothers. Many dwarves spend more time prospecting underground.

You know very little about the plan, only that you knew routes that the group would travel.

You have no idea who would be in the expedition, just that you were to meat in Alterac City and that lodging and supplies would be provided there. From there you assumed you were going to the Blasted Lands to the Dark Portal, why else would such secrecy and stealth be needed?

You approach the Lord Pereolde's Keep and you swear you saw a lone orc on one of the roads. You grit your teeth, and you remind yourself that not all Orcs are bad. You know there are currently many factions within the horde and that some are just as at risk of destruction by this war as any other race in Azeroth.

You approach the door which you had been specified to and rap loudly on the door.

I had misspelled your name in the title, sorry.

You have apprenticed under Medvh since you were 17, you were equal parts heartbroken and equal parts enraged when you heard of his becoming tainted and opening the Dark Portal unleashing the Burning Legion. You recently learned that he was possessed by a demon named Sargeras who, over the years, had slowly corrupted and took control of the Archmage's powerful arcane magic.

You were the first to report this to the king of Stormwind, who immediately, with your assistance, hatched a plan to be able to stop the onslaught.

Emissaries went out and various heroes were contacted and given a vital piece of information : if we did not act soon all of azeroth would succumb to the taint of the Burning Legion.

Lord Perenolde in Alterac had pledged any resources at his disposal to aid the king. The Lord was master of one of the smallest kingdoms in the Alliance which was notorious for not contributing to the greater good. The Lord however knew that it was only a matter of time that the fate which would soon befall all of the humans in Stormwind would also befall him. Stormwind was a port city, a fleet of ships had been called up to empty the city and move the Humans to Thereremore. The Burning Legion had cut off all possibility of getting into Stormwind by a group consisting of his subjects. He was cut off and isolated but his kingdom had never been alone. The hope for the Perenolde family would rely on the Kings plan to destroy the dark portal and stop the Legion from spreading. He offered his complete assistance. Both you and the King know these are the only reasons Perenolde has offered assistance, but Alterac had several opportune features which would be very helpful to the group when it set off.

Durotan, and by extension Orgrim was a part of the plan conceived by the Half Breed Assassin Garona. She had been spying on Medvh and Gul'dan for some time, and she also furnished the information about a spy inside the Frostwolf Chief's camp. You do not trust her to be having the proper motives behind her gathering the information she is and passing it to others. You are almost certain she is spying and relaying just as much information to you and the King as she is to Medveh and Gul'dan about you.

Her motives aside, the information she gave checked out, and the plot to stop the two dark sorcerers was largely conceived without her help. The addition of Blackhand's second in command Orgrim was to be recruited, but only because he had the hatred and distrust of Gul'dan enough to kill him. Having his assistance in stopping Medveh would just be a consolation prize.

You arrived at Alterac first, and you know that Lothar, Bronzebeard, and the half breed were on their way. It was up to you to use Durotan to get to Orgrim, even though you knew what that would mean. You knew that you would be sending Durotan and his wife to their deaths, and their son would live. However, you also knew that Durotan could have lived in exile long enough to see his son grow up, but without the removal of the spy from his midst the entire Frostwolf Tribe would die.

You knew that Durotan was honorable, for an Orc, and that appealing to that honor would help you to gain his trust.

It is just after Durotan disappeared down the path towards his encampment.

Brann Bronzebeard, the famous dwarf explorer and prospector was the expeditions guide. He would show the group little known pathways through the mountains in order to sneak into Medvih's tower without becoming a target of the Burning Legion.

You know some pieces of your former master are still present within Medvih and you wish there was some way to appeal to his humanity and expel Sargeras. You know that Lothar's sole mission from the king is to kill the wizard, so you would only have a small chance if you were going to try to save your master from a grim fate, suffered at your own hands.

You have four days to prepare as your allies arrive, Lord Pereolde will provide horses and supplies to last the journey to Karazhan the tower which Medivh had taken refuge.

Not long ago a Night Elf arrived and pledged his help to the mission. You are weary at first because you do not remember any emissary being sent to the Night Elves. Night Elf magic was different from yours so perhaps it was something they were able to sense.

You welcome the additional help, and wonder when the rest of the team will arrive.

This is all you know up to this point, it is up to you to fill in the blanks and carry out the mission, perils await you, so prepare yourself.

Before you can go inside, Brann approaches.

Durotan approached the crossroads which he was told to go. He could smell the humans in Alterac City, the odor made him cringe. Humans were the most disgusting creatures, at least to Orcs.

Durotan had argued with his mate for hours following the message he received telepathically. What if he was just dreaming? What if this was some kind of trap? Even if it was a trap the Warchief knew he had to risk it.

His wife would very soon give birth to his child, and Durotan wanted nothing more than for his family to grow and live in peace. However, with the Burning Legion sweeping across Azeroth, and Gul'dan apparently to blame, the Warchief knew he needed to meet the mysterious interloper. Gul'dan had turned his back on the traditional ways and edged himself a pathway into extremely dark and terrible powers. He was also responsible for the exile of the Frostwolf Clan from the Horde. Not to mention that the voice claimed that Gul'dan had a spy within the Warchief's camp. Even the prospect of betrayal put a scowl on Durotan's face as he reminded himself why he had agreed to meeting whoever had contacted him. He had to know who was betraying him.

Durotan paused momentarily at the crossroads where he was instructed to go. He clenched his empty fists and wondered why he had so easily been tricked into not coming armed. All he could think about was his son, and how he could save him. Whatever the cost. Just as the thought passed his mind he felt the presence of the same magic which accompanied the voice before. The one responsible was approaching, or was already there.

A human stepped out from behind some nearby foliage, he was tall, youthful, and as Durotan noted, unarmed.
"Who are you Human?" Durotan growled, "I hope you are not the one who summoned me here."

"Summoned is a rather harsh sounding word, Warchief." The man said, his voice slightly less pronounced than it had been when communicating through the energy of the spirit world. It was without a doubt the one who Durotan had conversed with previously. The man continued "It would be more correct if you said that I asked you here."

"I do not care about words wizard!" Durotan's voice carried through the trees.

"I would keep my voice down if I were you" The man said, "Lord Perenold has provided us a way inside his keep. It would not go over well if the voice of an Orc reached the ears of the guards."

"Get to the point." Durotan was clearly not very patient when it came to his mortal enemy.

"I am aware of your situation as well as the plight of the Frostwolf Clan." the man said, prompting nothing more than a slight squint from the stone faced Warchief. "To put it briefly, we know how to Kill Gul'dan and perhaps stop the Burning Legion. I know you have seen first hand what Gul'dan is capable of."

"This all sounds a little too good to be true." Durotan scoffed, his tone however was shifting.

"It has taken many lives for us to get this far." The wizard said, eyes drifting downward. "I assure you, if there was some other way to stop the slaughtering of innocents I would take it. This, however, is the only path."

The Warchief's expression began to soften, shifting to one of curiosity. "I came because you mentioned something about my son. How can I ensure that he will grow to be a man without his life being cut short?"

"Unfortunately I do not have many answers Warchief." The man said, taking a few cautious steps nearer to the Orc."I do however know that there are some actions that must be taken, and that we cannot wait."

"I once again ask, what would you have me do.." Durotan said, speaking now out of concern rather than anger.

"In order to save both my race and yours, as well as the rest of Azeroth, we are relying on the information given to us by a half-breed who has gotten very close to my former master, Medivh."

"What does a human sorcerer have to do with Gul'dan?" Durotan asked, starting to get angry at the human.

"Our source has told us that Medivh is in fact possessed by Sargeras. We believe based on this information that Medivh and Gul'dan are working together." The human continued. "We must kill one in order to have an opportunity to kill the other."

"Are you sure your information is accurate?" the Warchief asked, doubt heavy in his tone.

"Without a doubt. I have known Medivh for a very long time."

"So why am I here? How can I save my son?" Durotan asked hastily, still not understanding what any of this has to do with him.

"We are assembling a party with which to sneak behind enemy lines and kill Medivh and Gul'dan. We know where they are located."

Durotan chuckled. "You think a few can kill these two? You will have to face the Legion." the Warchief was starting more and more to think this human was crazy. It in a way was gaining the human some respect from the Orc. The plan certainly had a very 'Orcish' feel to it.

"We have a guide who will take us through the mountains. On paths only very few know exist. We however are missing one big piece of the puzzle."

"What would that be?" Durotan asked.

"We need the help of an old friend of yours in order to accomplish our task." the wizard said, making his plea.

"What friend of mine? You really think anyone I know will want to help you"

"This conflict runs much deeper than our old blood feuds. We are in need of a powerful warrior. One who could help turn the tide by helping to stop the Legion but also to put a new, more just leader in power."

"Power over the Horde? Blackhand currently holds power."

"We know of one Orc who would be able to not only remove Blackhand but to also be worthy enough to rule after he is gone."

"I know of one also.." Durotan said, finally starting to grasp the breadth of the information this wizard was privy to.

"Orgrim Doomhammer is the only hope we have. We need you to recruit him for us."

"I do not see how he can help you in your task, but I can see your point about leadership of the Horde." Durotan paused, thinking for a moment. "I know he will trust me, even if i tell him he must work with humans. I just hope you are sincere."

"As I said, this is the only way to ensure your son will live."

"I will do this task." the Warchief said, conceding to the importance of this mission, this goal.

"You need only instill the doubt in his mind and then replace it with the belief that if our mission fails, not only will humankind be exterminated, but the Orcs as well."

"Yes.." the war chief said, rubbing his chin lightly between his thumb and forefinger. "For my family, and for my honor it will be done."

"We will need him to meet us here within the next 4 days. By then the rest of our group would have arrived. Lord Perenolde will provide lodging and a planning area within his Keep."

"4 days, that is very little time."

"It is not impossible, therefore, it is worth trying."

"I agree." The war chief said, looking in the direction of his encampment. "Who shall I say Orgrim is to meet?"

"Tell him to come to these crossroads and we will escort him inside the keep. We will find him before he finds us."

"I still do not know how you were able to find me.. What is your name?"

"I am Khadgar. That is all you need know. Please Durotan take caution on the road leading back after your meeting with Doomhammer. It is there where your childs life may be in danger."

"You still have not told me how I can prevent it, what I must do." The warchief said, sounding concerned

"Unfortunately you, and Drakka will need to give your lives in order to protect your son's. I wish there was another way, but it is the only outcome which ends in his survival according to visions which are the basis for this mission."

Durotan hung his head, both he and his mate must die? It is a price you sometimes must pay. He would do what he had to and he would not fail. "Thank you Khadgar. If I am to die, then I wish you luck. Hopefully Doomhammer can provide what you are lacking."

The two parted ways, which was a rare sight. Human and Orc turning backs to each other and walking away. Perhaps one day the two races might be able to work together on a larger scale, but for now, this would have to do.

As Khadgar approached the walls of the Keep he sensed someone nearby ho was utilizing stealth.

"So it has begun." A voice said, resonating from nearly every direction at once.

"Yes, the board is set." Khadgar replied.

"I smell.. Dwarf.." the Night Elf said, changing the subject.

"Ah that would be Brann." Khadgar replied. So nearly everyone was here, only the Paladin and the half-breed assassin were missing.. Oh, and the Orcish Berserker. They had 4 days, after that, the window would close. The wizard hoped that his compatriots would arrive soon, before it was too late.

Healer
Description: Healers are gifted and powerful spell casters who draw their power from nature, faith and the spirits. Regardless of the source of their magic, they do not deal with the tainted energies of the arcane. Instead, healers find their power in the world around them or in the sprints or Eternals they venerate.

Race Eligibility:
Druids are present in the Alliance and Horde, as it is a prevalent path among both night elves and tauren.
Humans, dwarves, and high elves become priests of the Holy Light, while night elf priests honor Elune, the Moon Goddess.
Rumors also tell of priests among the jungle trolls and the forsaken, but what power they venerate are unknown.
Shamans are common among orcs and taurens, jungle trolls are also now taking this path under tutelage of their Horde allies.

Alignment:
Druids are usually neutral in alignment, concerned primarily with keeping balance in nature and monitoring the wild for intrusions or disruptions in the natural order.
Priests follow many faiths, but they move toward good alignments throughout Azeroth; evil priests are rarely encountered, though the Scourge and Burning Legion certainly have their worshipers.
Shamans take a pragmatic view of life and death so they may be of varying alignments, although they are never lawful.

Affiliation:
Druids are present in both the Alliance and Horde
Priests are more common in the Alliance
Shamans are encountered almost exclusively in the Horde

Abilities:
Spirit is the source of the healer's insight. Regardless of a healer's path, spirit is the light that guides their faith.
A good Charisma score is also beneficial to healers, particularly for the turning or rebuking ability.

Class Skills:
The healers class skills and key ability for each skill are Bluff (Cha), Concentration (Sta), Craft (Int), Craft (Trade skill) (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Heal (Spt), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Knowledge (the planes) (Int), Listen (Spt), Profession (Spt), Speak Language and spellcraft (Int).

Class Features:
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Healers are proficient with all simple weapons. They are proficient with light armor only.
Spells: A healer casts divine spells, which are drawn from the healer spell list and the individual spell lists for each path. However, her alignment may restrict her from casting certain spells opposed to her moral or ethical beliefs; see "Chaotic, Evil, Good and Lawful Spells". To learn, prepare or cast a spell, the healer must have a Spirit score equal to at least 10 + the spell level.
DC for saving throw against a healer spell is 10 + spell level + archaists Spirit modifier
Can only cast so many spells per day (see table below)
May know any number of spells. Must rest 8 hours and then select the prepared spells from the spellbook. After selecting the spells he must spend a number of minutes equal to each spell level being prepared, starting from lowest to highest level. Healers meditate or pray for their spells. Each healer must spend 1 minute in quiet contemplation or supplication per level of spell being prepared to regain the daily allotment of spells.  Healer may prepare and cast a spell on the healer spell list as well as the spell list of their specific path, if they cast spells of that level they must meditate while preparing them.

Chaotic, Evil, Good and Lawful Spells:
A healer can't cast spells of an alignment opposed to their own. Spells associated with particular alignments are indicated by the chaos, evil, good and lawful descriptors in their spell descriptions.

Domain Spells:
A healer gains a domain (or greatest and lesser domains) belonging to her path and gains those domain abilities in addition to abilities normally available to the healer's path. In addition, she may prepare an additional spell of each level they can last from their domain(s), they receive an additional spell slot at each level that can ONLY be used for a domain spell.

Healers Path:
Healers take levels in one of three "paths" druid, print or shaman. with each path honoring a specific philosophy and form of worship. The spells that healers cast and the special abilities they gain reinforce and distinguish the aims and beliefs of each path.
All healers have these class features base don their chosen path:
>Chaotic, Evil, Good and lawful spells: as previously stated
>Spontaneous Casting: Healers can channel stored spell energy into casting spells that are not prepared, the healer can "lose" any prepared spell slot that is not a domain spell in order to cast certain spells of the same spell level or lower.
>Turn or Rebuke: A healer has the power to affect certain creatures depending on their path and her alignment by focusing the power of their faith through a holy symbol or some other sacred item.
