Elizabeth Wynne

Has knowledge of the Blade Minstrel's song and music, and as a result has the
knowledge of the process to sealing demons. However, she does not know this fact.

Elizabeth was trained by the Blade Minstrels at an early age during the war
with the Conclave and Governance. She was taken in by them.

She met and befriended Cyrus's sister despite the many things said about Cyrus family
(especially Cyrus's mother). As for CYrus himself, she hardly recalls him,
though vaguely remembers of the brother that her friend Anna had.

Later compared to the Blade Minstrels who sealed the Demon Lords.

1004.02
----------------------------
Cyrus Liaron
----------------------------

Name: Cyrus
Alliance: Lawful Neutral
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Relatives/Family (optional): A mother and a sister.
Personality/Attitude:

Always one to be taken seriously, he never lets his guard down for anyone.
At times, he may seem tense, unfriendly in some aspects. But he's learned to
live by such standards. His stubborness is a core of his being, and won't
trust anyone easily. However, this doesn't mean that he wouldn't ally or
even befriend others when the time calls for such. He believes that trust
is something that is earned, much like respect and honor, and it is not given
lightly. He defends his views with such unanimity, that at times others find
him close-minded.

His seriousness is one that can rival even the most pensive sage. He doesn't
find humour in dangerous situations, nor does he find mirth in much of anything else.
Although he may be rigid to a point that others find unbelieveable, it doesn't mean that
he can't smile, laugh, or find merriment in other lighter things.
But it's a side of him that he rarely shows, and only to those closest to him.
However, when no one is around, he likes to take pleasure in the simple things in
life. Be it enjoying the wild lands, or breathing in the fresh cool air.

In battle however, Cyrus becomes something akin to a cold-blooded killer.
He methodically finishes his work, and at times mercilessly slaying those
in his path. He isn't entirely good, or entirely evil. But this does not mean
that the man doesn't have a sense of honor, or a code to live by. In fact,
he lives by his own unique code. At times, he can be found helping a stray traveller;
guiding the person back to safety. Or helping in the defense of a trade caravan,
attacked by a band of outlaws, and expecting nothing in return. Neither is it
uncommon to find the man doling out a few coins to those that truly needed it.

There are also times, however, that he acts cold, aloof, and without mercy,
especially to those who could be deemed "evil". When it comes to villains,
a fire rages behind Cyrus' usually calm eyes; an intense hatred, that removes
all other emotions of the moment. The decisions he had made has always haunted him.
At times, his guilt becomes unbearable, and times like these, his practiced facade
disappears, showing a hint of emotion.

If one were indeed able to get to know him, and close enough to the aloof
man, they would find, behind his grey near-lifeless eyes, not only a fierce
loyalty to those around him, but a man searching for something.
But don't bother asking, for even he would not be able to tell you what that was.

Background/History:

The war lasted for years, and only ended when nuclear bombs were dropped,
decimating whole cities, and killing hundreds of thousands in its wake.
When he was young, his mother tried to hide him as the draft required
all those able to fight to take up arms. And all those young enough, to
train until they were proficient enough to be sent. Although he was still
a child, the local governance required his parents to send him to train.
His mother, already saddened by the loss of her husband, decided to hide
her children, specifically her young son who would be required to be sent
to a military training school. But her efforts proved fruitless, as just
days later when the draft was announced, the governance stormed through
their home, and forcefully took the young child away; their sister and
mother cried and watched helplessly as he was taken away from them.

During the next years, Cyrus spent his time learning the art of war;
the handling of a gun, the endurance to trudge through rough terrain, and
the ability to follow orders. He was skilled, and talented for such work,
and among the military academy they were taught in, he soon rose to a
captain rank, not just because of his skill, but also because time was short,
and the governance needed more soldiers to replace those who have died.

At the age of 23, he was given command of a unit. And for the next few months
of the war, he succesfully won campaigns against the enemy, coldlessly killing
those that were against him. He saw many horrific sights, even taking part with
some of them. But he was well-disciplined, and continued on.

However, that changed one day when in the cover of night, he lead his men to
a supposed enemy-filled village, following their orders from the governance,
he ordered his men to fire upon the village-camp in hopes to surprise their
enemy. Yet, no enemies poured forth, and no resistance gave way. Thinking
this a good sign, he lead the charge towards the village. His men, in the heat
of battle, followed after, torching nearby houses and buildings as they came
upon them. But all Cyrus found were frightened and injured villagers. But to
the soldiers, all they saw was the enemy. Killing the villagers in cold-blood,
all Cyrus could do was watch in horror as the men he commanded mercilessly
slew them. Hearing the cry of a lost child, Cyrus quickly followed pursuit
of the sound. He found a young girl, no more than 10 years of age, a woman,
who looked to be her mother, shot dead on her feet. Guilt overcame the man
just then, not just for the village they invaded, but for all the past
atrocities he commited, and he hid the girl underneath the cellar of a nearby
house. He told her to be quiet, even as the young girl tried fruitlessly to stifle
her tears.

Soon, his soldiers passed through the village, and he lead his men back home.
All the while, fervently hoping that the girl would be alright. But his hopes
were dashed, as the morning after, the governance sent a nuclear bomb near the
village, engulfing it, and three other nearby towns as well. This started the
release of many more devasting explosions that not only destroyed the governance
and the enemy, but many people along with it. His own village was abandoned, the
locals, and many other villages nearby, leaving their homes to find somewhere
safer, and even he doesn't know the fate of his mother, or sister who was left behind.

Along with the fallout from the explosions, demons appeared in the numbers,
when before, they would appear only rarely. Humanity, or what was left of it,
survived just barely. The few abled warriors and mages took a hand in defending
the few villages left. Cyrus, despising the evil of men, the governance, and
the war itself, aimlessly took the the road, having seen too many horrors
done by his own hand, he chose to redeem himself, in his attempt to search for
his family, or find any information on the fates of his mother and sister.

Appearance:

With square shoulders, straight posture, and a face as if etched in stone,
he gives an aura of integrity and loyalty. He has the face of man that encompasses
all what it means to be serious. Although he can be considered comely by some
people's standards, his intense gaze, and manner serves to diminish such aspects.

His contemplative face is topped with a ragged display of reddish-brown hair.
Although it is tidied, an onlooker can tell that the man spends hardly anytime
with it. And looks to be more of a fast and near-sloppy work of tidying up.

Cyrus holds himself as a trained fighter. His gait reflects the years of
training he endured even at a young age. His grace possesess a quality
that few can match. His movementss are eerily silent, and if one were
to close their eyes, they wouldn't be able to tell that the man was
there in the first place. Various scars and burns cover his body, and
hardly is there a place left unscathed by the experiences he's been through.

He wears fragments of his uniform from when he was in the military.
However, many pieces of the clothing has been replaced by symmetrical
pieces of leather, fashioned into an almost armor-like clothing.
The only recognizable piece of his clothing that resembles his days in the
military is the crest and symbol of his allegiance, etched in a pattern on
his right shoulder. He has no true preference for clothing, or color for that
matter, and can feel comfortable in any attire he, or any other, forces him to wear.

Picture:
Height:
Weight:

Hair Colour: Reddish-brown, more akin to a red brick
Eye Colour: Grey
Build: Tall and a relatively fit body.

Weaponry:

He carries with him his cutlass, a standard weapon given to those who served
in the military. It is also the weapon he most favors, as it is the only
weapon he had years of experiences, not only with training, but also with
actual use. However, he also carries with his self a pistol. In the times
when ammunition is hard to be found, and pistols, a mark of a time of war
and suffering, he rarely takes it out. And instead, keeps it safe, saving his
ammunition for a time when he believes it is truly needed.

Armour:

He wears fragments of his uniform from when he was in the military. However,
many pieces of the clothing has been replaced by symmetrical pieces of leather,
fashioned into an almost armor-like clothing.

----------------------------
"Glaive" Lucian Forge
----------------------------

Name: Glaive (Real name is unknown) // It's Lucian Forge, not decided if he hides his name or
// or some sort of memory loss
Alliance: Lawful Neutral
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Relatives/Family (optional): Dead.
Personality/Attitude:

Somewhat enigmatic in his demeanor, Glaive remains a mystery even to
those who claim to know him well; and among those people, none can tell
you anything more about him than what you could already see - A solitary
man who confides in no one. Combined with his unwillingness to share his
past to anyone, Glaive is just that.

But he wasn't always that way. Early in his life, he laughed. He smiled.
He was much like anyone else. But all that changed on one fateful night.
In an instance, his friends and his family were all taken away from him,
as soldiers from the Governance stormed through. In an instance, his
home was burned away , as the fires were lit. In an instance, everything
he knew and loved was lost.

It was all based off a rumor. It was said that his home village was a
place where Demons were made and everywhere you looked, everyone you met,
and everything you touched was in one way or another related to Demons. It
was such a small, insignificant rumor, but it seemed the Governance would take no chances.

He changed in ways so drastically he couldn't even relate to who he was before
the tragedy. He no longer laughed or smile. No, he didn't show any emotion at
all. Revealing a genuine lack of trust, he wouldn't even reveal his true name.
In the few conversations he gets dragged into, he only says what is needed or
nothing at all. Indeed, he would avoid such conversation altogether, sometimes
even ignoring those who speak out to him.

It was true that if a needy man came up to him he would help. Similarly, if he
saw a poor family struggling to survive he would lend what support he could give.
Many times, the poor and needy would rejoice as they find their way to their small,
dirty homes and find a large sack filled with coins and other valuables.
Glaive found he truly sympathized with these people who lived under a Governance
that fails them so. Though he may seem cold, Glaive would seem like a completely
different person if he was judged from his actions alone.

Background/History:

He was an unremarkable man with an unremarkable life, but he was happy. Often,
he would laugh and smile as he played along with his friends. There was Lenn,
a friend, who stood by his against any obstacle. Then there was Kiere, another
friend, who was always there when he needed her. The three of them were friends
for as long as any of them could remember and they went through everything together.
They would listen in to the elders secretive meets, and even sneak out together
even when the moon shone brightly at the village (A practice the elders made
completely forbidden to any villager). Even with his unremarkable life, he was
happy. The massacre of his home village changed all of that.

His memories of the actual tragedy are not as clear as what you might expect.
He finds huge gaps in his memories where a conflict would have taken place
between a villager and a soldier. He would remember clearly the soldiers carefully
take aim at a group of villagers who stood there calmly. Indeed, they stood
there defiantly, daring the soldiers to shoot. Then... nothing. His memory would
end there as the conflict began. But he did remember that afterward many villagers'
corpses were strewn across the land, but, unusually, there was many more soldiers
lying dead or dying in the blood-stained fields. It was unusual for the villagers
were unarmed and even with guns and swords they wouldn't have stood a chance.

Yet many soldiers died. But the soldiers were winning. They were able to shrug
off their heavy losses and keep on coming. The villagers were unable to do so.
Running with all the strength in his body, Glaive ran as fellow villagers
were shot down left and right. Eventually he made it to a group of villagers
that were fighting back. He saw Lenn swinging an ethereal sword, cutting
through steel and flesh as if it was butter. Then, he saw Kiere using the
soldiers' own weapons against them by redirecting the flow of bullets to target
only soldiers. Seeing him, Lenn shouted "Bout time you got here. Mind giving
me a hand out here?". Seeing his confused face, Lenn said "forget it". Glaive
wanted to ask them what was happening and how they were able to do all these
things, but all that came out was "How?". Shocked, Kiere turned to face him,
saying,"You really don't know?". Kiere stopped the conversation and stopped a
barrage of bullets just in time. "Sorry, I'll explain later" was the only thing
he got. Here and there, several more villagers helped in similar displays of
power - but there was too many. He watched helplessly as Lenn took a bullet.
Distracted, Kiere shouted Lenn's name, then fell back as a bullet cut through
her shoulder. It was hopeless against so many enemies. Finally through sheer
numbers, the soldiers surrounded the last group of villagers; an entire army
faced off against the last dozen or so villagers that remained. Later never came.

When he woke up, the morning had already come up and he was alone in the ruined
remains of what was once his village. The soldiers and villagers were gone -
not even the corpses remained. He was completely alone. Or not so completely
alone, he found, as an elderly man approached him. "That was quite a show
young man", the man said as he offered Glaive a hand. Later, Glaive found
that the elderly man was named Korrell and he was a recruiter for a
secretive organization known only as the Syndicate.

Years later, Glaive became one of the best Demon Hunters in the organization
and here he earned his name with the unusual glaive Korrel had given to
him. Under Korrell's guidance, Glaive grew to become an infiltrator.
Where most Demon Hunters would have to team up in groups of three or
four to accomplish their assignments, infiltrators fight alone. Even
then, Glaive, like any infiltrator, could fight on par with any of
these groups.

Over time, Glaive had accomplished many missions yet he still knew
little about the organization he worked for other than it dealt
with the elimination of Demons. Obviously the Syndicate was formed
some time ago to have gathered so many capable fighters, and obviously
is must have some purpose in amassing such a capable army. But as to
what that purpose was, Glaive had no clue.

Then it happened again. This time it was Demons and not Governance
soldiers that stormed through his new home. It was not possible.
Security was tight, the guards were skilled, and the Syndicate
itself was known to none outside the organization. It remains a
mystery even now to Glaive at how easily so many Demons had
infiltrated the base, but they were there and they wrecked their
havoc. But this time Glaive was not helpless. Glaive slashed
through a Demon, cut through another, and slashed yet another.
The Syndicate fought long and hard against the invasion but, like before, was overrun.

Glaive was barely able to get out alive as all hopes of retaking
the base disappeared. Glaive continued on leaving two shattered
lives behind. The fates of his past friends unknown, the fate of
his mentor unknown, and his own fate unknown, Glaive carved out a new life.

Appearance:
A tall man with a slightly muscular build. That phrase could well
describe the cloaked man. Never taking too much with him nor carrying
any excessive baggage, most of what he carries is concealed in the
confines of his cloak including a wide array of deadly weapons.

Picture:
Height:
Weight:

Hair Colour: Raven black
Eye Colour: Reddish-hued
Build: Tall and slightly muscular.

Weaponry:

He prefers to fight with an unusual glaive with which he earned his alias,
though he often throws a dagger or two during battle. The glaive is unusual
in that it may be taken apart and reconstructed in such a way that it can
become a crossbow or a spear among other things. Apart from his glaive
and daggers, he carries a pair of silver hand guns that was entrusted to
him during his service to the Syndicate - these he prefers to leave
alone due to an increasing lack of ammunition.

Armour:

He wears a strong but light leather armor. Pitch-black in color his
armor provides him with the necessary stealth to slip past walls,
blockades, and other obstacles undetected. His cloak is of the same color
and conceals his weapons from detection.

Major Abilities:Several days after the massacre of his home village, Glaive
found unusual occurrences happening more and more often to him. He found
that with but a thought, he could manipulate the world around. He could
lift large boulders, stop a flood, and even manifest fire. But every
time he used these new-found powers, a disturbing dark aura would flood
out of him. It was, after a rather disturbing revelation, much like
the dark aura surrounding Demons. There might have been some truth to
that rumor after all.
Other (if applicable):His training with the Syndicate has given him a
quick mind and a strong body as well as his glaive.

Possible Spoilers: (Taken directly from Story History text file)

Glaive (Lucian Forge)

He has potential to control demons, but has not "awakened" to his powers yet.

Has demon blood, sacrifices himself at the end to be part of the seal for the world.
Possible because he has human consciousness.

Later compared to the Syndicate who fought against the Demon Lords.
