Ella

For Annia, Aria, and Callista only.

Callista could not believe her luck. She had just found the most beautiful shiny... thing on a pretty shiny chain and she could not wait to sit and play with it. But first, she had to take it somewhere safe, so no one else would take it from her. Some birds liked to take her shiny things from her. She had learned that the hard way, before she had taken up residence in the attic of the inn and stored her loot there. But after meeting all those people from the Guild of Galas'nor, she had been forced to return almost all of it to the people they had originally belonged to... Callista did not see why she had to give the stuff back. The original owners had lost them or simply left them behind. The faerie went by an important rule with that kind of stuff. Finder's keepers, losers weepers. That meant, if someone lost it, left it behind, or died, then it was free for the taking, which was exactly what she had done.

Annia and some of the others had argued that those people had not lost the items, they had simply set them down in their own rooms, which they thought would be a safe place in which to store them. Callista had not understood much of inns back then. Faeries did not have "inns" in their cities. They had guest houses that were designated for visitors who would not be staying with family to stay in. This place was not like a guest house at all, so she had thought they no longer wanted their items.

But this case was different. This item had clearly been left behind. The person had just dropped it and walked away. She had tried to tell them they had dropped it, but since they were in a marketplace full of people, the person had disappeared while she was retrieving it. That meant it was hers now. The person was gone and she had tried to return it to its owner, but the owner had disappeared.

Entering the room that she now shared with Annia and Aria, Callista flew to sit in the window to get a good look at her very own shiny... thing on a chain.

Annia Siadon

"Callista... what are you doing?" Curious, Annia makes her way to the fairy.
Better a truth to be told openly, than lies spun to mask it.

Callista looked up at Annia, holding up her shiny thing on a its shiny chain. "Look what I found! Isn't it pretty?!" She exclaimed.
