July 28, 2018, 10:25:05 AM
Name:Gill Bates
Gender: Male
Age:21
Occupation: Airport Bodyguard
Country of Origin: America
Approximate Origin Earth Year Calendar Date: 2016
Quirk: He's a tank! (no, not literally) (don't)
Hobbies: Playing cards, fishing, "tactical espionage"
Personality: 1) The cashier asks how much change the cup of coffee is. Gill responds "It's a lot". The cashier responds "And how much specifically?". Gill slowly places the coffee cup in the cashiers face "it's somewhere there." the cashier looks at him whimsically, only to find Gill looking back at him with a stone face. "Uhh, okay sir lemme just take a look-" The cashier has to get a price gun just to make sure.
2) Gill sees a cat in a tree while jogging at a nearby park. Only waiting until no one is in sight does he slowly climb the tree to pick up the cat- except he falls down the tree. He later gets a step ladder and runs back to save the cat only to find it saved by another person. Gill awkwardly walks away before he is stopped by the person that saved the cat. When he's asked why he has a ladder, Gill responds "Oh it's nothing."
3) An enemy soldier approaches Gill. His squadmate is shot and bleeding and needs immediate first aid. Unfortunately Gill has to make the decision to run under withering fire with his squadmate, or kill the enemy soldiers enroaching upon his location. Gill makes the decision to kill all the enemes so there is a clear path for he and his Squadmate to fallback to allied forces. Gill makes a run towards the enemy and hopes he can outgun them with his pistol. As a blooded and half consious Gill kills the last of the soldiers, Gill runs back to find that his Squadmate has died of blood loss. Saddened by his death, he wonders if running away under enemy fire might have been the better option. Gill picks up the dead body of his Squadmate and runs towards Allied forces, free from the fire of the enemy. Gill later retires.
Intellectual capabilities: Cannot do mental math. Basic elementary education (barely). Finds things difficult to grasp or appreciate. Has a knack for certain things, like how to fish.
Physical capabilities: Able to lift 200 pounds comfortably for extended periods of time.
Likes: Animals, music, medicine.
Dislikes: Gill dislikes war and death.
Strengths: A resolve to get something done. Although it's hard for Gill to commit to anything, once he's either able to accept the facts or just plain likes doing something, chances are he'll stick with it for a good amount of time.
Weaknesses: Has a horrible sense of balance, hence why he didn't join the Airforce and ended up puking several times at the flight simulator. His social awkwardness is quite apparent, so the managers told him he could be a bodyguard. For all his front, Gill is just a naive introvert put through all the wrong things. It's easy for Gill to be easily disheartened by a snide comment.
Biography: A former soldier that left the war without any idea how to make a living. While rummaging through the streets to survive for a few awkward days, a friend of his asked him to try a desk job at an airport. Gill agreed, wanting to somehow make a living seemed like a good idea after not knowing much else besides shooting a gun- but he had not talent for 'sitting down and doing stuff'. The hiring manager later put him into airport security noting his toned body and experince in the military. Gill found his place as a rapid response team member, only acting when an immediate emergency is inbound although normally stationed around the airports screening area. Upon being given a vacation, Gill decides to plan a veteran get together at a local beach. Before his plans to see his comrades once again, a bomb is discovered in the airport. In a panic, the flightees run and trip over each other, security teams asking them to raise both of their hands high as they exit the building. Gill is on the forward team, sweeping the immediate area and wondering how a bomb made it's way into the airport. They don't question it when a bomb expert on the crew tells them some war veteran made some unscrupulous connections and had their private screening rigged to be a success with the bomb in toe. Gill comes face to face with the war veteran - an old associate from the war. Gill attempts to reason with him, but finds no luck as the bomb is armed. Rushing to apprehend the veteran, both Gill and his team are caught in the explosion.
Misc: Gill died in an explosion. Because of his rather severe death as compared to passing away because of old age, Gill has minor Amnesia. He remembers fighting against troops and a rough idea of his now nameless friends, but can't tell you what special tactics were instilled in him as a soldier, or what the results of the war were- Gill doesn't remember the name of the airport he worked for, but certainly remembers he worked for an airport.
