Post by: Throndir on May 29, 2016, 10:45:05 PM
[info]DM requested. But will DM this myself if no one picks up and Kynnstitia posts.[/info]

As the arena opened up, you see some sort of kitty 115 ft. away.

Kynnstitia stood to one side of the arena, waiting on her opponent. Light, streaming from somewhere above, glinted off orange scales, where it didn't reflect silver off the burnished steel of her shield and armor. Dark blue eyes, sharper now then they had once been, scanned the arena, taking in the environment. Her father was an accomplished warrior, a hero, but he was an even better general. Everything she knew of battle tactics and fighting came from him, and one of the very first lessons he had taught her was to always know your surroundings, down to the smallest details.

She could hear his words still, from a sparring match when she was younger. Standing above her where she'd tripped over a rock, training sword to her neck. "It doesn't matter how good you are. If you don't watch your surroundings your bound to trip up eventually, maybe literally. You'd be surprised how often an oblivious warrior has met his end on his back. It's a poor way to go." There wasn't much to see in this arena, but she memorized the layout just the same, noting every rock bigger then a pebble, where the lights shone down, and everything else that stood out to her senses.

It wasn't too long before her opponent appeared; a small feline. Never one to underestimate an opponent, Kynnstitia hefted her shield and drew her pick.

The cat ran forward screeching, as it closed the distance it attempted to pounce on you, but you quickly got out of the way.

Swiftly stepping to the side, Kynnstitia dodged the small things claws. She swung, using the momentum of her step in her swing, bringing the hammer end of her pick across in a wide swing, then reversing the direction and employing the spike.
Kynnstitia uses Dragon Breath - Electricity
Bahamut has blessed the dragonborn
with aspects combining some of the best attributes of
good dragons. Upon completing the Rite of Rebirth,
a dragonborn chooses which of the following three
aspects to manifest. Once the choice is made, it cannot
be changed.
Heart (Su): A dragonborn who chooses heart as
her draconic aspect gains a breath weapon. The breath
weapon is a bright, shining line that coruscates with
every metallic color. The line's length is 5 feet per Hit
Die the dragonborn has, up to a maximum of 100 feet at
20 HD. The breath weapon deals 1d8 points of damage,
plus an extra 1d8 points for each 3 HD the dragonborn
possesses (2d8 at 3 HD, 3d8 at 6 HD, and so on). The
damage can be acid, cold, electricity, or fi re, changing
on each use as the dragonborn chooses. A successful
Reflex save (DC 10 + 1/2 the dragonborn's HD + her Con
modifier) halves the damage. A dragonborn can use her
breath weapon once every 1d4 rounds.
QuoteDefeated it. Kynn earned 291 exp and 291 gold.

As the next round was prepared, you see in the distance what looked to be a robed figure, covered from brownish-black clothing. Apart from that, it was still too far to get any more details.

A dark orb surrounded the opponent then, and he seemed to attempt to vanish.
