"Even though they're webbed, it looks like they are making a comeback! Nasty strike from the dwarf to the half orc. And a retaliation just as amazing!"

"It looks like the match can go either way. Though one thing for sure, the southern team isn't pulling any punches when it comes to using their magical items."

Lyolf or Beetle or Gandin to take their turn.

Lance

In the past, they were known as Team Overgrowth. Composed of creatures the size of ten men and bearing the strength to match, they were a terror on the battlefield. Their scaly hides deflected all but the most powerful of attacks and their razor-sharp fangs tore through any semblance of defense raised against them. Thus, no matter how daunting the opponent or bizarre the battlefield, Overgrowth had always come out on top-that is...

Until they met Lyolf.

Their battle took place amongst the raging flames of the fire arena and though they held the advantage of both power and reach, they eventually fell prey to Lyolf's chain, Ryine's sword, and Sophie's broom. It was an eye-opening event, both for the onlookers as well as the combatants-especially for the members of Team Overgrowth. They had never lost a match before; Thus, after the battle was over, they were filled with nothing but grudging respect for their most recent opponents.

However, several hours later and after much inter-team intrigue, the various arena teams were reshuffled. Team Overgrowth was among the first to be dismantled and its members freed to join another. And though there were many teams still in the running, the members of Overgrowth had already made their decision.
Lyolf's Legion

Lyolf activates the Rod of the Viper, summoning a giant constrictor snake at DE67. Immediately afterwards, the snake and beetle will perform a flanking attack on Gandin.

QuoteGold + Exp rewards are the same for losers and winners. Winning group moves on to next round. Forfeits are fine if the entire team agrees.

Quote@Lyolf, since we're in Pathfinder now, we are using the PF stats for these summons, not 3.5. I'll have to ask you to reroll attacks for your summons. When you get a chance reroll for the Giant Stag Beetle. Also note you have the Rod of the Python, not Rod of the Viper. I've linked it below. Reroll for the snake as well.

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/rods/rod-of-the-python

Ensure you meet the criteria below.
QuoteRod of the Python
Aura moderate transmutation; CL 10th; Slot none; Price 13,000 gp; Weight 10 lbs.

DESCRIPTION

Unlike with most rods, one end of this rod curls and twists back on itself in a crook—the tip of this crook sometimes looks like the head of a snake. The rod itself is about 4 feet long and weighs 10 pounds. It strikes as a +1/+1 quarterstaff. If the user throws the rod to the ground (a standard action), it grows to become a constrictor snake by the end of the round. The python obeys all commands of the owner. (In animal form, it retains the +1 enhancement bonus on attack and damage rolls possessed by the rod form.) The serpent returns to rod form (a full-round action) whenever the wielder desires, or whenever it moves farther than 100 feet from the owner. If the snake form is slain, it returns to rod form and cannot be activated again for 3 days. A rod of the python only functions if the possessor is good.

CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS

Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Craft Rod, baleful polymorph, creator must be good; Cost 6,500 gp
