While harvesting parts off the creature, you managed to pull out the acid gland, along with a large chunk of its hide. Both would need to be treated to be properly used, and unfortunately, the acid gland wouldn't last too long before being unusable. As you were removing the pieces from the carcass however, you realized that there were a few items in its stomach. Perhaps other poor travellers who had been recently digested. It was a glint of metal, and after fishing it out, you realized it was a necklace.
