Ciara heared Taiga shout to her and she grits her teeth as a growl escaped her. She could feel herself tiring as she tried to hold on to the animal while riding in her heavy armor. She grabbed the reins and pushed the horse to catch up to the cart as she yelled ahead, "Do not stop! Keep going!" She lowered into the saddle as she then whispered to the horse, "Come on before we're bird food."

"She'll be fine!" Jars replied loud enough for everyone to hear clearly, and hopefully for Ciara to perhaps pick up on it. "She's doing her job on protecting these goods." He turned towards Mimsy who was still attempting to continue increasing the gap between her and the axe beak.

"We're going to outrun it, and meet up with Ciara later." He said again, his words having some finality to it.

Rota looked a bit more worried than her counterpart, biting her lip in anticipation, and even holding her staff tightly. She seemed to wanted to say something in response to Jars, but decided not to. Instead she only nodded, and attempted to place a hand on Taiga's shoulder.

"She'll be okay my dude." Rota said to Taiga, though moving her worried gaze back towards the chase happening further behind them.

Attempting to spur the mount faster did not work. It only complained but maintained the same speed.[/error]

Both the axe beak and Ciara were no longer in sight due to the hill in the way. Mimsy was able to successfully guide the wagon, off road, up the hill, then back down to meet with the road on the other side, leaving both Ciara and the axe beak left behind.

Taiga knowing they will need his strength if things go wrong in the future holds himself back by gripping the cart hard as they crest the hill and see Ciara fall behind. "I only hope she catches up soon, we have to trust that she can handle whatever her job throws at her without trouble."

Taiga then swivels around and uses his body and full strength to help brace the shipment in case something went wrong at this speed.
