[Hanako] Chapter 13.5: The Stench in the Air

"I think I'm almost spent..." Hanako muttered hazily, but following Kari's command she turned her attention to the troll that was beginning to regenerate and began to cast a spell.

"Suffer the agony of Fire's scorching lick, FEUER!"

Your fire spell erupted from the troll's flesh. And in that moment you got another set of notifications, giving you a visible confirmation of the troll's death.

You are now level 27. Spend your unallocated points.[/okay]Trudy repeated her spellcasting towards the next troll, one of the ones who still standing and attacking Kari. She managed to hit it, bringing it down.

Kari began to move on to the next troll, however, you noticed that no notifications of levels popped up on the troll that was just downed, even though Trudy had cast a fire spell on it just moments before.

There was one final troll left that was still standing, but it kept attacking with abandon. The troll got a few good hits in, and already Kari's clothes were torn and ripped, along with being bloodied. Kari still managed to stand up though.

"Trudy, burn the one to the left of Kari! Keep it from getting up!" Hanako shouted.

The notification that popped up in the corner of her vision caught her eye for a moment, and a new idea crossed her mind. Hanako activated her "Multiplier" again, but this time tried to "share" the effect to Kari. She hoped it would work but didn't bother to pause and check. Instead she raised her finger again and once more chanted a spell.

"Suffer the agony of Fire's scorching lick, FEUER!"
