As you were travelling, you managed to smell something absolutely disgusting in the air. It was just a whiff, telling you that whatever was smelling bad, was some distance away. It was at that moment too that you spotted some rustling in the bushes in the side of the road ahead. It was also then that you managed to catch sight of hulking figures in it. They were 120 ft. away.[/info]

"There's something big up there in the bushes. Should we stop?"

From your warning, Trudy pulled back the reins of the horses. "Yes, or outrun-" In that moment however, a rock came heading straight towards one of the horses. The rock managed to hit, leaving a wound on the horse. It was at that moment too that 5 hulking figures appeared, and started to make their way towards you.

"Trolls."

Initiative Order: Hanako: 25, Trolls, Kari: 13, Trudy: 9

[Asta]

"Exciting day." Hanako said dryly. "Anything I should know about fighting them?"

As she spoke, she grabbed the rifle that was lying in the seat next to her and a handful of rounds, hopped out of the carriage, and assumed a firing stance. She tried to steady her breathing, and waited for a clean shot.

[info]Ready action, Attack, Rifle; First Troll to come within 80 feet before her next turn.[/info]

Two trolls move up closer. A third troll moved up as well, and this one was within 80 ft. Behind them however, you see the remaining two more trolls running towards you.

Roll attack on the nearest Troll.

As soon as she had what looked like a clear shot Hanako pulled the trigger and took a shot.

Your rifle fired, and you the troll was now slightly injured. Two trolls from behind it started sprinting next.

"Smite them quickly! For trolls regenerate vigorously. Fire or acid shalt stop their regeneration." Kari said as she charged towards the running trolls. The troll had a long reach and attempted to swipe at her, but missed. She came into contact with it, and with a powerful swing, her curved blade tore through the troll's torso, leaving it badly wounded. But already you could see it's wounds start to close up.

Reloading her own rifle, Trudy fired at the same one you were attacking. The troll was now injured.

That same troll roared, and locking eyes with both you and Trudy who had attacked it started to sprint towards you instead of keeping a careful hustle. Two more trolls began to surround Kari, only one of them managed an attack, but it too missed.

Hanako's turn

Hanako tossed the spent rifle behind her and pointed a finger at the troll that was charging her way. Fire or acid huh?

"Suffer the agony of Fire's scorching lick, FEUER!"

As she released the spell, a thought crossed her mind and she decided to act upon it. "And again! Multiply!"

Hanako wasn't sure if the blessing would actually reuse the spell she just cast, but in the heat of the moment she didn't care about being embarrassed for spouting nonsense since the others were probably too focused on the threat at hand.

Your spell managed to hit, though, it burned some of its flesh, but it still kept moving undaunted.

The moment you said 'Multiply', you felt the drain of mana, and at the corner of your vision a small window appeared.

[okay]Action Multiplier: x2[/okay]Nothing seemed different about the spell you had cast however.

The remaining trolls started to move up. Two trolls attacked Kari. Out of 4 attacks, 3 went through. The troll had even raked its claws across her, but surprisingly, she was still only slightly injured.

Kari clicked her tongue, then started to move and weave her way through the trolls surrounding her, she was surprisingly acrobatic, and ducked low when she needed, along with rolling to the side whenever one of the trolls attempted to swipe at her. Her movements were flawless as she made her way towards the same troll both you and Trudy were attacking. As she closed the distance, she swung her blade towards it, leaving the troll badly wounded.

Trudy move westwards, reloading her gun at the same time.

The troll responded by moving up closer, and attempting to bite you, it hit, leaving you injured. Another troll moved to attack Kari, and hit, but the valkyrie was still only slightly injured.

The next troll moved up to one of the horses, and though the horse tried to move away, the troll managed to bite into it's neck, then ruthlessly tear more than half of it's neck right off as blood and gore splattered all over its body, the troll, and the neighboring horse. All the horses were baying loudly, but seeing start to make the front horse start to pull away. The carriage didn't quite move yet however, as the two horses behind still stood their ground.

Hanako winced at the pain, but drew her sword and stepped up at an angle to meet the troll regardless. Trying to recall her training from the past few weeks she launched an assault, slashing at the troll in an arc, praying her blade would meet its flesh.

You struck out with your sword and your blade dug into its flesh. It was then that a strange thing happened. There was another ghostly image of you who seemed to be overlapped with you, who was also striking down at the creature, however, it wasn't the exact same movements, where you had chopped downwards, the ghostly image attacked horizontally across. The moment both sets of weapons connected with the troll, the ghostly image disappeared, while the troll sported two equally hurting wounds. It looked as if the wounds were exactly the same too, just placed differently on the trolls' body. After that, the 'x2' sitting at the corner of your vision went back down to 'x1', and shortly after that vanished completely.

Trudy fired off her gun, leaving the troll near death. Then began to reload her weapon.

Two more trolls started to attack Kari, however when one stretched it's neck too far to attempt to bite Kari, the valkyrie simply spun out of the way, and with a quick tap, sent the troll prone to the ground as it was already off-balance. The wounds were starting to add up and Kari was now injured.

Seeing the troll both you and Trudy were killing was being brought down, Kari focused on the troll that she had attacked previously. Her swung hard four times, with three of them hitting. Her second hit was especially gruesome, bringing down the creature in a heap in front of her. Kari didn't let up however, and still continued to slice and dice at it.

The troll you had attacked began to regenerate. It unleashed a full set of attacks, though, only one of its claws managed to hit you, while you dodged the rest. You were still injured.

The troll who had killed one of the horses, moved on to the next, killing it just as easily as the first. While another troll continued to attack Kari. Kari was now badly wounded.

"Pull back, don't let them flank you! Hanako shouted.

Having a better idea of what her new blessing actually did, she activated it once more, this time before lashing out again at the troll in front of her.

The moment you used your ability again, you saw the 'x2' appear, at the same time, you felt sleepy. Like before, you struck out then with the 'x2' being active, and managed to hit, and that same ghostly figure of another you appeared and likewise attacked in the exact same way. This was enough to take the troll down as it crumpled beneath your feet. Disturbingly, it's wounds continued to close up.

Seeing it down, Trudy began casting a fire spell.

"Come forth, Feuer! Crimson Javelin of Flames: 『Fire Spear』!" She chanted as a long crimson lights started to form above her. The moment she spoke the keyword and thus releasing the spell, the long pole of light became a spear and shot forth towards the troll, impaling the already downed body as the heat spread throughout. Thankfully after that, the regenerating finally stopped.

You are now level 24.[/okay]Kari managed to take a bit more damage, but was still at badly wounded. Stepping up to the next troll, Kari unleashed another 4 heavy strikes. "Burn the troll on the ground! Afore it wakes itself!" She called out as her powerful strikes tore into the troll, after the third slash, it was downed, but Kari continued wrecking her blade into the still-regenerating body.

The remaining two trolls started to attack Kari, not seemingly caring that their own companions were falling around them. Kari took three more wicked slashes from the trolls, bringing her down to near death.
