     Seeing the bird start to fall farther and farther back, Yuki turned around.  Keeping a grip on the rails of the wagon, she got closer to the front of the wagon and took a look at the upcoming obstacles.

With nothing much to do to be useful, Sotu simply hung on to the cart as it sped along.

"Damn it all." Eydis  growls out, seeing that the bird has started gaining on them. Maybe I should have taken Taiga up on the aim assist... The elf thought to herself, before shaking the thought from her mind. No! I've got to be confident, or my shots are sure to fail.

Eydis carefully takes aim once more and attempts to wad off the creature again.
